My Daddy is sooooo silly. How silly is he? you ask. Well Silly as this: I'm getting all prepared for my Big Scary Step and have looked at houses (see below) and all of a sudden he comes out with: We should just get a new house with an in-law apartment. I thought it was a joke. Nope, he looked at them today, and mentioned it over dinner. He wants to get a new house with an in-law apartment. Why? you ask. Well because Mr. She's Gotta Move Out has decided that he doesn't want me to move out. Well he doesn't want me to move down near SU because he listens to the news and has decided that the neighborhoods are just not good enough for his little girl (me). So his solution is to get a house with an in-law apartment, have me live in the in-law apartment and pay rent. WTF! Daddy is so silly. He wants me to move out in theory, but not practice.

In other news, I am so not in the holiday spirit. I think I went from November to February. I have no desire to put up decorations or anything. I'm way behind on present-shopping, it's not even funny. I have things to mail and make, in theory, just no motivation. Seriously, it feels like February. It doesn't feel like the Holiday season. I don't know what it's from. Maybe because of world politics. Maybe because I'm just going to be working straight through them. Putting up the tree was almost too much effort. It's up. Mom & I put it up today. But other than that? *rolls eyes* I could care less. Bah humbug or whatever. I mean, ususally, I'm all in the spirit, but not this year. Nope. Not feeling it. Still feeling like I want to go to a deserted island and stay there forever.
