Well, Like twice in one day! WOW. This would be a record for me except I've done twice in one day before. So really, I'm only hear to discuss my uber-cool new layout for my Ogden Nash Fanlisting. No, none of the links work, but I really did want to show off my drawing. Yep, that is my artistic talent right there. You are suitably unimpressed I know. Well, it's not my best work, and it was my first time using Oil-pastels. I do think I like painting better. Acryllics rock. Yes, I like acryllic painting. It is very fun, and if you screw up, you can use the "do-over" method. Which is to say, you paint right over your boo-boo, and it all looks fine in the end! Yeah, well, if you want to see my beautious painting skills, you can see (and have probably already seen) my orange. I forget the url of it exactly, but you can just to to the Art page and it's right up there at the top. My Floating Orange with Imaginary Leaves. I almost entered it in the Bethelehem Fair, but it would need to be there the Wednesday before the Fair, and I won't get there until Friday. So, I'm going to enter one of my stained glass works of art instead.

Well, time for beddy-bye.

Until next time: Should you be called by a panther... don't anther!

Don't you just love the guilt blog? The Everyone Else Has Blogged so I must Blog Too Blog? Well, I haven't in a while. I havent' had much to say. Though I suppose I do now. Anyway, I was approved for my Ogden Nash Fanlisting. Ok, so you're saying "Ogden WHO?" Well Ogden Nash was the great American poet who coined the phrase "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker" and several other short poems, though he did write long ones as well. Regardless, I was approved by The Fanlistings so I'm going to do it! I have to assume that there are educated masses someplace on the internet who would join a fanlisting. Maybe I'm asking too much. Maybe I'm just making an ass out of u and me.

In other news, I just got a whole load of fabric to reupholster a chair. It's going to be in all pretty blue and yellow and greens. Don't look at me funny, yes, I have 4 different fabrics I'm going to do it in. I am not INSANE! I saw a living room set at a legitimate furniture store. In fact, it was the same one where I saw Shann's doppelganger. Anyway, it was this whimsical little set with lots of colors and stuff. But Jo-Anne's Fabric doesn't have a large selection of whimsy in furniture-strength fabrics. So that's my upcoming project to keep me busy.

What else do you want to know about my life? I know. You know to much already, so shut up you little twit! No, I won't! Anyway Kelly updated the Tiff Fanlisting with me on it. Go look, little children and see my name, and join because Tiff rocks.

Oh and one last little note that I watched Life as a House yesterday, and Hayden was very very yummy in it. In goth make-up and out. Of course, those shower scenes were nice. Methinks Star Wars Eppie III is going to need some gratuitious shirtlessness in it. What with Hayden and Ewen and all. Gratuitous shirtlessness would be very nice. Anakin, I will have your love child! And then I'll have Obi-Wan's too for good measure.

I made it home relatively alive, but very tired. But my cat Orpheus missed me so much, first he jumped up and purred on my pillow last night, but this morning, he went out and got me a special present. Well, you will realize that over on the Quoteboard that there is the No Hunt the Bunny! Quote. This was to prevent Orpheus from hunting Nacci (the adorable gray bunny). Well, Orpheus hunted the bunny. It was small and brown and fuzzy. I have no idea what he did with it now, but it was for me. *Sigh* he's such a sweet boy. I wonder when he'll go out and hunt Mommy a hunk of her very own. You know, drag him back home, still living, and I'll nurse the boy back to health, and of course we all know what happens to nurses and private patients in Bodice Rippers. Yep, they get married. What did you think I was going to say! poo!

Well, you will also have noticed that I joined the new layout crew. Currently, Tiff, Susie, Meg AND Juliette ALL have new layouts. So of course, I must keep up with the jonses. This is added to Kelly who got her new domain a little while back, and now has a very purty layout, though it is not as new as the people mentioned above.

Oh, and I would also like to thank Sue and Amanda for posing for me at Newport, RI, for the lovely pictures of the Tunnel of Love. I *heart* my suitemates, they humor me nicely.

And Happy 100th Birthday to Ogden Nash... some words of wisdom:

A Cow is of the Bovine ilk
One end is Moo, the other Milk

Candy is Dandy, but Liquor is Quicker

Until nex time: hunt the bunny!

Just wanted to let my faithful blog readers (both of them) know that I'm am in DC and having a wonderful time. I've already had too much food. I'm blocks from the Capitol Building and I can see the dome from my room (top floor of the hotel, private room, baby!). Anyway, as you may know, I'm in a conferece for APRA but there is some time for sight-seeing and whatnot. So I am alive and well, and needing to be someplace in a few minutes, but if something eventful happens, I'll be sure to let you know. And I'll be taking pictures as well, so hopefully, I'll get some scanned and whatnot, and be checking back in periodically.

Lots of love from DC.

Well good news, folks! I am now running the only Mel Brooks Fanlisting which is approved by The Fanlistings. Which is not to say that it's the best, only I was the first person who liked Mel Brooks enough to host a fanlisting of him that got to The Fanlistings. So I made a nice new layout for it, and set up the page, and I'd take it "live" only I'm going to be in DC for the next few days, and though I'm sure I won't be swamped, I want to wait until I'm in the area before I really make it official with the Fanlistings. But if you REALLY want to join it, you can just submit the form! :-D Oh, I made a song, it's to the Happy Birthday/Good Morning to You tune:

Happy Friday to me
I'm going to DC
I feel like a monkey
Or a Knight Who Says Ni

Until next time, keep feeding Little Gray!

Blogging again on my lunch break. I know I haven't done it in forever, or almost forever. My brother and his wife were up for the weekend, which was very fun as we got to see more pictures from the wedding and pictures from their honeymoon. Other than that, not much has happened. I created a css document for my Professional Association Webpage. Also Shann has a lovely new layout, even if she doesn't like it. I adore it, but that is just me. :-D I'm very excited as this week, I'm going down to Washington DC for a conference and some fun afterwords with Elisa and Amanda, if not Sue. Well, my sandwich is done (turkey breast on whole wheat with lettuce, onions, mayo, spicy mustard and american cheese from Subway, which is good, but if you want my honest opinion (and I'm sure you do), Wegmans has better subs & sandwiches. Anyway, back to work for Lizzes.

Everyday... computers, stereo equipment, televisions, telephones, and other delicate electronic equipment... go psychotic or have complete nervous breakdowns

Until next time, keep picking burrs off of Orpheus.

All right, a quick blog before I go back to work from my lunch break. I just wanted to let you all know that I took this rockin' online quiz.

I took the What Mythological Creature Are you? test by !

And that's all i have to say about that! Anyway, sometime soon I will blog more completely, but I've been tired/uninterested. So I'll leave you with this little pearl of wisdom:

Footprints are not made in the sands of time sitting down. Buttprints are!

Until next time, keep scratching Euphrates.
