This blog is dedicated to Susie Because if I don't blog in a long enough time then she pokes me with something sharp and it is unpleasant. So it is dedicated to Susie.
Anyway, onto a topic Susie cares nothing about. Diet Coke. Susie's hostess Tiff likes Diet Coke (aka DC), but Tiff talked to me in going on a month or so. Therefore SusieSusie gets the major and repeated plug.
Onto Diet Coke, and more specifically, the number of varieties that Diet Coke now has. So DC is rolling out new Diet Vanilla Coke. So they were having a major sale at Wegmans on Coke products. So I originally tried Diet Vanilla Coke in Philly (see blog on 11/11). And it was interesting. Actually I liked it. It was kinda like cream soda. But anyway, there was this big sale, limit 8. So I picked up a DC, mom got a Coke & a Barq's. We got a Fresca, and a Diet Dr. Pepper. So that's 5. I pick up a DC with Lemon, and plan on getting a Diet Vanilla Coke. So that makes 7. And mom goes Diet Cherry Coke! And I'm like WHERE? And there it was! So now I have 4 varieties of DC. I didn't pick up a Caffiene Free DC else I could have 5 twelve-packs.
Well, now that you're bored to death. I'll go now. Are you happy Susie?

Forgive me readers, for I have sinned. It has been six days since my last blog. That's pretty damn good, isn't it? Anyway. Not much has gone on with my life since I got back from NC. I've been swamped by work at work, but at home. Now there is some good stuff going on! Nov. 12, I had a doctor's appointment and after that, stopped at the mall to pick up movies. Yes movies. FotR extended version DVD and Star Wars eppie II DVD. Now Friday night, I sat down and intended to have a Christopher Lee villain-a-thon. As he is Sarumon in LotR and Count Dooku in Star Wars. Well, it didn't happen. See I discovered this neat thing called "Actors Commentary" on the LotR DVD and so I, in essence, watched the extended version twice. Once to see the new scenes, once do to the actor's commentary. Oh *sigh* I love accents.
SATURDAY, I took my mom to see Harry Potter II. Which was adorable. Man, if I couldn't go live in Middle Earth with a 3,000 year old (or so) elf who's name begins with Lego and ends with las, I'd so want to go to Hogwarts and be a witch. I'd probably end up hooking up with one of the Weasley's just so I could live at their awesome house. Though Lucious Malfoy was deliciously evil.
so TODAY, I finally got around to seeing Star Wars Eppie II on DVD--though I had seen the special features before. Poo on LucasFilms. Their commentary only had directors and stuff. No fun Ewan or Hayden. Grrr. Did I mention that if either of my first two wishes fall through, I'd have both Obi-Wan's and Anakin's love children. I mean, I know Anakin gets Luke & Leia off of Padme. But who's to say there weren't more Skywalker bastards hopping around the universe. Skywalker-Kenobi half siblings. *gets squishy*

Well, I am back. I went to NC on Friday to see a friend who goes to UNC Chapel Hill. Also visiting her were two other suitemates who drove in from CT and DC. Well, let me inform you not to wear anything on a plane that is adorably cute. So I have this buff/tan colored sweatshirt that has a kitten on the front in a nubby material. And it has stripes that are darker tan with little mice and yarn balls on it. It's cute. Apparently, it screams "terrorist". So on Friday, I went through security and discovered that my black bitch boots set off the detector. So I get searched then. Well that is fine with me as it makes me feel safe. Someone sets off the security sensor and they get searched. Yay! Go Security.
Well, upon boarding the plane in Syracuse. STILL in Syracuse. I got searched by the same lady that searched me before! And she noted that. "Hey! I wanded you at security!" *rolls eyes*
So anyway, I survive that ordeal. And get to Philly. And the good thing about the Philly airport is they have rocking chairs in the middle where you can go and relax and sit in a rocking chair! It kicks ass!
So then I get into RDU and get picked up by my aforementioned friends, and we go out to eat, and this guy comes to our table and says in a cheesy pick-up line voice "wanna see a magic trick?" And I'm like oh-kay, all freaked out. Well, I was the only one who didn't know that this is what that guy does on Friday nights at the restaurant. He does table-side magic.
So surviving that, we went back to 'Manda's apartment and watched Spiderman (peter parker is one big dork), went to bed on air mattresses (yes you sick people, 4 girls sleeping together) and woke up and got ready for Renaissance Fun!
Renaissance Fun was remarkably fun. As I expected it to be. I got to wear my Saxonwear, which when I bother to upload my photos, you can see. Actually go here I think. If it doesn't work, well go have fun with a porcupine. So we get into the faire and see falconry and shows and go shopping and I buy a charming little jingly anklet to go with my chain mail and a lamb-skin toy for my kittens, and then I encounter Taliesin. Well, The Midsummer Knight's Dream (Fine Art Fantasy Puppets). And adopt a Jhari and name him Taliesin. Basically, he's a cross between a bat and a cat. It was difficult, involved lots of violin playing and candles. But he rocks. And I got asked if I worked there. But alas I didn't. So I adopted Tali.
And that night we played Munchkin which is a card game marketed as "D&D but without all the RPing crap". So you start out as a human, but as you go through the dungeon (by way of drawing cards) you fight monsters and can become different races (Halfling, Elf, Dwarf) and classes (Thief, Warrior, Cleric, Magician). And you acquire armor and weapons and curses and stuff. And it is very fun.
So on Sunday, I had to go home (Phucking Philly). And got to RDU and happily got me an A&W Root Beer Float. And it was good. And read my book, and got on the plane and landed in Philly (Phucking Philly) and I have exactly about 1/2 hour to get from terminal B to terminal C and get dinner in order to make my flight to Syracuse. Only I get there and find out my Phucking Phlight Phrom Philly is delayed! Turns out the plane is from Indianapolis which was in the middle of tornado nastiness. And we had to wait for another plane from Houston. So instead of leaving at 7:35, my Phucking Phlight Phrom Philly Phlies out at 8:45 almost 9. Phortunately, the pilot catches a good tailwind and has permission to phly in a straight line phrom Philly to Syracuse. But still it's late and I'm pissy.
So that's my weekend.
Until then Click Here and go visit Jen, Shells and Susie. Done!
