Sorry Lizzy that the layout makes you feel cold. Perhaps I should make a new one and let this one see the light of day in August, when we're all too hot! :)

This is a quick blog to say that I got to be counted in a public opinion poll! It'll be in the New York Times on Tuesday and on CBS Evening News on Monday. Oooh, I'm special. But that's not the reason why. The reason why I'm special is that I've got a Light-up Garden Gnome. Yes-sir-ee-Bob. When I actually move into my new house, he'll be a much-needed nightlight, holding up his flickering lantern to show the way to the little critters passing by. I don't know if it's the sort of neighborhood where I can put him outside. I'll have to wait and see.
