And now for the obligatory Post Pirates blog. Yes, I succumbed to fangirlishness and saw Pirates on opening night. Sue me. I must say that as predicted, my enjoyment of the movie was greatly enhanced by the continual shouting of my name on screen. And just a warning, you really should stay until the very end of the credits. And I mean the very very end. Past the logos and everything. Very nice suprise.

Anyways, onto the movie. I love pirates. Pirates just rock. Especially romantacized versions of pirates like in the movie. The way definately is open for a sequel, and that makes this Elizabeth just pleased as punch. Especially should Mr. Bloom play the straight man to Mr. Depp once more, and then for a little excitement, Mr. Bloom should cut loose and whole-heartedly embrace his pirateness.
