*whimper*
I had to take Mr. Orpheus to the Emergency Vets. He cut his left front paw open. He had to get it stapled. :( He made me a very very worried mommy, and we had to go to the Emergency Vets and I didn't like it one bit having to go there. I have to make an appointment in 7 to 10 days to get his staple out, and :(

It's not what I wanted to deal with on coming home after running ragged since... oh all last week. :( Poor Mr. Orpheus. I got home and he was limping and I finally got him cornered and got to look at his paw and right down by the pad where the pad meets the foot at the back of it was cut right open. I washed it out wiht Hydrogen Peroxide, but the longer I looked at it, the more my stomach churned, so I had to bring him. Now he's on antibiotics and he's got a staple in his paw. :( Poor Mr. Orpheus. He liked my filking of Popular for him. "Orpheus! You're gonna be Or-phe-ee-us."

So Nana and Grandpa Jack arrived on Thursday. Yes, Kate, you got it right. Sue also dropped in in Thursday and we went to choir practice, though not enough people showed to actually practice music. Friday was an antsy day. But I had to go to my parents house after work to be social. They called me to bring the chimnea and to pick up scallops on the way. I got me a york peppermint patty handling fee.

But we had dinner, which was good. I brought up garb to show Nana. She thought it was nice, but mentioned it wasn't ironed, and kept mentioning it all evening, so I stayed up Friday night ironing.

Saturday, was woken up and the Inspector General came over to my house. She didn't make too many comments, which was a relief. But I showed her the faucet that I got with the Home Depot Christmas Gift card she and Grandpa Jack got me.

Of course, then we had lunch. I put a bunch of lyrics onto a sheet of paper for a cheet-sheet for the demo. Went to my parents' house to be social for a little longer. We started to watch TTT (RotK comes out tomorrow/tonight at midnight), but then it was time for me to go prep for the demo.

Got into full MinionWear™ because Nana liked the purple veil, and ran around the demo being all mid-eastern. Apparently people were confused as to what a mid-eastern person had to do with medieval times. They just figured everyone was from "England" even though Lord Justin was in Italian. Sybil was called "the Queen" because she was in full Elizabethan.

During feast, I got up and sang. -great- accoustics.

Then came the dancing, which was fun. I had to strip down out of a lot of MinionWear™ because it was too toasty. I should have changed into my other ironed outfit because the cotton was lighter. But it worked. I led the Euorpean dancing portion of the program as well. I only had a minor screw-up, and my dad almost wiped out a whole line of dancers during Horses Bransle, but it went well.

Stayed up until midnight helping to pick up, gave Kate a ride home and crawled into bed. Slept for ten and a half hours. Mom thought I wouldn't be up until noon. But I got up and went to their house, then we went to brunch at the Scotch and Sirloin. It was very yummy indeed. We went shopping so Nana could buy a pair of Old Navy yoga pants (since she liked the pair she was borrowing from my mother). She ended up getting one pair while I got me a new dress and a new skirt, not realizing what I'd have to pay for later on (see references to poor Mr. Orpheus). We played cards, watched the end of TTT, and then it was time for me to go home and see that my baby was limping and he had cut his paw open.

We got back during the thunderstorm. The power went out at 11, came back on at midnight. It stormed ALL FREAKING NIGHT LONG! GAH! And I couldn't sleep throught it (too hot, too loud, too many cats leaning on me, Mr. O sleeping too close to the side of the bed that I got worried he'd fall, 'cause he was pretty zonked out from the shot of antibiotics they gave him). So blah.. that was the weekend.
