!@#(&@# People who don't understand blogs!
READ ME

And once you're done with that, we can come back and talk. I saw one friend get burned by someone who after breaking up, he read her livejournal and got offended by some of the things she had said about him (namely, he wasn't as wonderful sparkling paragon of perfectness that he thought himself to be).

Anyway, it appears that things are at it again. I'm in the midst of seeing more friends' livejournals (and no, I will not name them here due to my respect for their privacy and the privacy of all of those involved) getting read by someone and seeing that they are not the wonderful sparkling paragon of perfection that they seem to think they are. The thing is, if you're here and reading it and can indentify all the assorted bits and pieces, then you'll know what I'm talking about. If you're going "WTF?!" then you're not involved and won't know.

So guess what, people invovled... the only people who know specifically what the issue is about are the one's involved so if there's something nasty that YOU have identifed as YOURSELF, going around and spreading it about to people NOT involved only points YOURSELF out as the guilty party. If you keep your big mouth shut, only those people involved would know it was YOU. And guess what, they'd know anyway! Therefore, No Harm Done

Specifically taking hours searching out a journal, then weeding through posts and posts and posts of stupid picture quiz crap is just... well, a waste of time, and shows how obsessive you are that you find this out. Spreading this crap about to other people not involved shows how low you would sink in an attempt to get others to 'cut' people you don't like. This has also been done to a friend in the past. Please, people, I stopped the "don't like so-and-so" games in Kindergarten!

Guess what, people, you only know as much as is written. Especially when a place like this is designed for blowing off steam. Happiness, sadness, joy and frustrations are all vented here. Because, you know, putting it here could help prevent someone from saying it directly to your face in front of hundreds of people and really identifying you as the culprit.

On a totally unrelated note, I brought the nummy nummy hot chocolate Lyev gave me to work because that's where I usually have my morning hot beverages, and, well, it's to nummy not to partake of! We! Lyev is the best!

Lyev back for the Hat-trick!
Lyev has made it to the hat-trick level on my Favorite Person in the World list. Of course, he brings chocolate with him, and that is a good thing. Looking at my Favorite Person list, chocolate plays heavily into it. Only this time, it was Cherry Cordails, which are pretty much my favorite chocolate bit in the world. My mother calls them eyeballs, but oooh! they're yummy. That pretty much secured Lyev as my current reigning favorite person.

So 7 Deadlies was so much fun. I had three changes of garb, a proclamation of love (from a fellow-minion's boyfriend as he watched me savor aforementioned cherry cordail). I finally met Kierin and Dennis, of whom I have heard much about from Kate. I also finally got to meet Sarah, of whom I have heard so much about from Ginger.

I got to go up before the king twice. Once to present parting gifts to our old Baron and Baroness (Mice-a-Roni: The european treat; Turkish Wax: made from genuine imitation turks; The one-volume World Encyclopedia: hand scribed-by monks; an all-expenses paid trip off the Baronial thrones; and Delftwooopoly: Delftwood the Home Game, it's fun to say, its fun to play, featuring customized Delftwood Properties, Gift basket and Snark Attack cards, and pesonalized game tokens. Delftooopoly.. putting the Wooo! back in Woo-hoo!), and then again after we had Oeric invested, he summoned us minions up to recieve little tokens of minionhood and become official minions. :)

Unfortunately, the 5 of us are all well endowed women, and the king and baron were up on the stage, and we weren't. When we knelt, the stage came up to chest height, and we became the "Rack of Minions". Oeric and the King were lucky men.

Anyway, it was a grand old time. We got to do the Delftwood Bransle--in which we must moo. :-D That's being taught on Thursday at A&S. I got to be in a read-through of the play and wear a toga. Of course, it was hot enough that the toga was my most comfortable bit of garb. Well that, and when I stripped down in Minionwear to be in just dancing bits. It was cabaret style and not truly period.

So it was a good time.

My non-lap-cat spent 45 minutes on my lap!
Yes, it is exciting in a world where Mr. Orpheus barely decides to put a paw on you to be friendly... he just curled up and slept for like 45 minutes while I was watching Angel. Speaking of Angel, puppet Angel was absolutely hysterical. Especially Vampire Puppet Angel. Ooh man, I laughed and laughed. Looks to be a final bright point in the season...

I got a little bit of painting done. It has come out as absolute adorableness. Hopefully the reciepient will enjoy it. I certainly do. It makes me giddy to look at it.

Well, that's about it... short blog, I know, but I've got preparations to do for 7 Deadlies... things to find a house to clean and whatnot. Good thing I have Friday off so I can do frantic preparations then before I go and set up and then go home to wait for houseguests for the Event this Saturday. But WEEEE!!! *giddy*

~*~ Beanie's Dragons Paint Sunsets ~*~
Welcome to my new layout. I hinted about it in my last blog, but I finally got to coding and whatnot.

This is Version:Painted Sunset. It is one of my paintings. Yes, I made that. You didn't. It is property of ME and if I see it anyplace on the web without permission, heads will roll! Anyway, Sunset is done in an Acrylic medium. It came about with making a holiday present for some friends just as a way to use up extra paint. In the using up extra paint, it became a little hill leading into a body of water in front of a gorgeous sky with the sun right there. I scanned it directly from the painting into the computer (actual size 7 1/2 x 5 1/2), shunk it slightly, added text, etc. Coding was done in trusty notepad and the layout copyright 2004 to me.

Hope you enjoy it for awhile. Unfortunately, it makes me want to go to sleep! But that's what sunsets do. *sigh*

New Favorite Person
Just thought I should announce that bit. Oh, those chocolates were good. So very very very good. Aiden is in a close second 'cause he was the one who gave Kate said chocolates that she shared.

I think there's a trend in my Favorite Person of the Moment group. Anyway, Kate it is 'cause she shared and oooooh was it good. mmm mmm mmm

Happy B-day to my Evil Overlady
And hostee, Kate. Go her! :) Unfortunately, her birthday gift is still very much in progress. I have to leaf-a-fy her happy trees. :-D Of course, I can also bestow upon her her painted banner. I shall need to get a picture of it so I can add it to my little collection of artwork I have done/made.

I have another finished piece which I have scanned, but don't want to show off until it appears up at the top of this here page as the new layout. I like it just that much.

Er... what else was accomplished. My dining room is now white. Yay! There are plans for next weekend to do a color wash with a tan/light brown color to really make it look cool. And then I also have to clean the bathroom and the guest bedroom, because putting guests for 7 Deadlies in a cluttered guest room isn't the best of ideas.

As far as from my last blog, I've jut got to finish sewing on the last half of a frog for my 7 Deadlies dress. I've also got to wash and hem my MinionVeil™ so I can play when I'm dancing at 7 deadlies. Hey, I think I detect a trend in my chores!

Anyways, Must get back to doing things and making new layouts and whatnot!

I have one half of the last frog to sew on for my

With Mr. Orpheus in the Co-pilot's seat
So it's been a week or so. Very long week, I must say. Happily, I've got Angel Season 1 on loan from some friends. This makes me happy. Then we had some family up for the SU game and shopping on Saturday. It was crazy. We got like a foot of snow and had to do odd drop-offs and pick-ups and in the meantime go shopping. AAH! But on the happy side, I got ribbon and stuff to finish off my dress for 7 deadlies

I managed to get half my driveway shoveled on Sunday. The right half. As opposed to the left half. If I get too far into the driveway, my driver's side tires are up on icy packed snow crap that takes a lot of effort to get up. I also got to whack icicles with a long piece of wood.

In continued news, I started work on Kate's banner on Monday. Played with paints as well.

It was a very happy day. I was going to write more, but I've forgotten what I wanted to say as is ususally the case. :)
