Springtime for Dragons and Syracuse....  
The battle against the weeds have begun. I've spent several hours digging up annoying communal-root weeds that I don't have a name for, but they're nasty and normal weed-killer will not kill them. They need the super stuff--or to be manually removed. Or both.

And then there's the mint/lemon balm in my herb garden. I've gotten a bunch of that out. Most of it, I hope. Next week, more will sprout, I'm sure. This leaves me with a bunch of space in my herb garden for more veggies and other stuff to plant. Go herb garden! I'm thinking beans, but there's more space than THAT!

While I was tearing up the mint, Orpheus find some catnip in the pile, so I replanted that. Let me tell you, when I got inside, Clorinda LOVED me like there was no tomorrow! She started nibbling my fingers because of the catnip. :) Much fun.

I've got some chocolate mint (to replace that which died), basil, and lavender potted inside. And more catnip as well. I also need to grow some kitty-grass in the bottom of some of my larger plants to give Clorinda something to chew on other than little baby spider plants!
