Creative Zone: beware falling cadences  
My goodness. Things are very busy in my head. Peeking at what's going on over at SCAdian Musings and Verbosity, you can be pretty certain that Orpheus has called his mother and his aunts, and they're hovering around me. Just about anything is sparking an inspiration of some sort. A line in an e-mail about a bardic contest: *poof* new song. A throw-away line in some feedback and *poof* new plot bunny. A brief conversation: *poof* another new song. It's getting rather crowded in there in the creativity department. And you know what? It's wonderful.

AIEEE Ikillyoudead! ROWR!  
So last night, while singing with Kate, I realized that Clorinda, the Little Bandit Princess, is like a bad undersized Anime character. Especially when she tries pouncing on her much larger older brothers. Well, and the fact that she attacks just about anything that moves. Something catches her attention and it's like she thinks: "Oh, I see this opponent... Ikillyounow *pounce* Ikillyoudead! Ikillyoudead!"

I suppose this is my pennance for naming her after a heroine who disguises herself as a boy and goes out to defend her city from the invading Christian Infadels.

In other news. Dancing happened. I'm getting really good with being able to use my veil one-handed. It's fun. Also, Beer-tasting class happened. Conclusion: if I were to drink beer, it would be malty. Roasty wasn't bad either. Of course, I'm not a beer drinker, so...

My Singing Voice Has Returned!  
Wow, that was a massive cold. It was only over this past weekend that I finally recovered my singing voice. I no longer sound like a 14-year-old boy in the middle of puberty when I sing! This is a very good thing. A very very very good thing, as in 12 days is the Festival of the Passing of the Ice Dragon in which there is a competition that I would greatly like to be entered in. Yay.

Of course, the best part about having a singing voice again is that now I can sing the new song I created. Of course, the song won't be in a position of being used for another two years which is slightly icky, but it works nonetheless. I'll have to throw it in Finale so I don't forget it!

So I'm not dead, and you should take that as a good thing. :) I should get some of my sketches scanned, but I forgot over the weekend. I also have to work on a scroll for April 30. Until then...
